Location

1) This is the area our media group are filming the opening to are new thriller. This is at Drayton Old Lodge, which is a Restaurant where I work. I noticed the potential for this when we first found out about the media course. We have chosen this area because our idea for the film was based around a walk in fridge. This first picture shows the surrounding area where we will be filming.

2) The second picture is of the wall that she will run towards, this is a very old wall that is falling down in some places this shows it’s a unglamorous place that’s not cared for in anyway. This will be a good shot as you can see the building in the background.

3) This is a picture of the ground and the view of the building from the archway. It also shows the amount of leaves on the ground this will be useful for the sound of the girl running along the floor.

4) This is a very effective picture of the lighting on the building and the temporary fencing which shows the unglamorous location. Here you can also see the large metal bins, which also emphasises the unglamorous space. You can also see the overgrown bushes, which shows how no one goes down where she has come from.

5) This is a shot of the stairs up to the building, we will use this to get some camera shots from underneath the steps as she climes up. This picture shows the more unglamorous part of the building, as this is where the staff goes to smoke. It also shows its loneliness because of the one chair and the one-bucket full of cigarette buts.

6) This is where we will place the camera for the view when she clambers up the stairs to the double doors, which lead into the kitchen.

7) Here are the doors she will try to get into in her desperation to hide from what is following her. You can see some of the kitchen here.

8) This is a picture of the kitchen, which she will see as she pans around the room looking for a place to hide the suitcase.

9) This is the first shot we will se the fridge. The camera is of her eye view as she looks around the kitchen. She does not know it’s a fridge as she moves towards it.

10) This is the fridge door that she will move toward, it will be slightly open, almost appealing to walk into.

11) This final camera shot is of the window in the roof which we will be filming a shot from through the window looking down on the girl walking below, almost like she being watched by what is following her.

Character description

As a group we decided that are main character would have to be a woman aged about 18. She needs to be white and blonde.

We also need a male as the corpse inside the walk in fridge. It will be a person as the corpse, so it is not a prop as this would be difficult. The man will be a white male and he will be dressed in a suit.

Prop Evaluation

In our group we had originally choose to not use any props, however after much thought we decided this would make the opening more interesting and we could use a briefcase as the main object in are film. This briefcase would be filled with bags of flour, but in the films case cocaine.

We now needed to find a suitable prop. We then went about finding a suitcase that will be filled with cocaine which would be placed inside. Then we thought the best thing for this would be polythene bags filled with flour. We also found the perfect suitcase in the loft of my group member’s house.

Here are the cocaine filled bags we have made up using flour and Clingfilm. These will be placed inside the briefcase that we found earlier.

Plot Summary

The plot will start in the woods with a woman running towards a building she can see in the distance up the hill. She is trying to escape from what is following her. She is holding a suitcase but we don’t know what is inside. We don’t see what is following her but the audience get a sense that she is being followed by the fact she keeps turning round and from her heavy breathing. When she reaches the building she clambers up the steps and manages to prise the door open. When she gets inside she surveys the kitchen and notices a door at the back of the room. She then runs towards this, and walks inside she shuts the door, the room is dark. She then puts her hands around the room and finds the light switch once she finds it, she flicks it on. Then the light reveals a body of a man inside the fridge. She is very frightened by this and drops the suitcase. The suitcase opens and the cocaine is revealed as it spills out over the floor. Then the lights are turned off and the film start ends.

My After Shave advert

This is my advert for a new after shave for men. I have designed this advert to appeal to middle aged men by using Pierce Brosnan as the middle aged man. I had the idea that could use Daniel Craig for the younger audience. I also decided to use Sean Conery for the older audiences. This I though would be a clever way of marketing to different age groups.
When I first saw this photo I knew it would be perfect for my advert. Because he is leaning on the car and he is dressed very smartly, also the way he is leaning on the car it makes it look like he is very rich and he owns the car. Also the car fits perfectly in the size of the frame also looks good with the wheel turned.

With the text I placed it in the corner near his head because I thought people would be drawn to his face as they recognise him from films. Then from this they eyes would be drawn across the advert to text which incorporates the slogan which is an adaptation from one of James Bonds famous quotes. Also the black in red works well, also the black background with the white base go well together also.
